Obama/Holder Hypocrisy
I think that if people watched the video of the “New Black Panthers” in black uniforms carrying a billy club in front of a polling place, “providing security”, they might not feel too secure accessing their Constitutional right to vote. Attorney General Holder decides that there is not enough evidence to prosecute them for intimidation of voters though. I wonder why? Lamar Odom/Lakers
Big mistake by Lamar to reject the Lakers most recent three year offer. If he winds up with another team, he will make less money over his lifetime than if he stays with the Lakers and wins one, two, maybe three rings. Is there anybody that would have given Danny Ainge or Steve Kerr franchises to run if they had not played with Bird for all those championships. Lamar will assure a legacy if he stays. Of course, they would have to win for that to happen. Maybe he doesn’t believe…

Pelosi/Alford
This was hysterical. To see Pelosi foundering was spectacular. She could not grasp why Harry was offended. Nance, you can’t just throw out your ‘black stats’ when you have a black man speaking to you. It’s so much: ‘some of my best friends are black!!!’
That said, no one should ever be offended. It’s not worth the emotional weight.

Friend/Abortion
I have a good friend who finds herself pregnant at age 44, in the middle of a divorce, supporting a household of people, trying to finish up her university education. There is even more to it than all that, but you get the idea. She called to talk about it. She thinks she can’t handle it and wants to abort. But I am pretty sure she called me because she knows what is right and wants support to choose the right, not the easy, thing. Say a prayer for her.
