Open Heart Surgery

OK, here's a fun update. On May 18, 2009 I had a bypass surgery! I had 6 bypasses done (Jeff said I had a triple-double!). And was in the hospital at Providence Holy Cross in Mission Hills. I received great care and treatment. I am out now and doing well. The amount of support I have received has been crazy. Particularly Carol has worked at taking care of me like a second job. Also, my kids (who dropped everything and came running), friends, church folks, work friends, all have been phenomenal.
So I will explain more in future posts, but for now I just wanted to log in. I have some thoughts about medical care, costs, my own personal health awareness. More later, but thanks to all...
